How do i get diabled people insurance?

I am disabled and can not work. I dont have insurance. how do i get it?? i live in michigan.. pls everyone help

  1. You need to contact the social security office in your state, they will provide you will all the documents to get medicaide, medicare or state medical.


  2. In order to qualify for SSDI (Social Security Disability Insurance) you must meet the federal guideline for total disability. Here is a link to that page to determine if you qualify:

  3. Are  you talking about disability insurance, or disability payments? SSI, or Social Security, is money paid to people who can't work for reasons having to do with disease or disability. On the other hand, there are insurance policies that will pay you so much money a month if you are disabled. It is too late to obtain that sort of insurance if you are already disabled. You need to apply at your Social Security office, and be prepared to do so several times. There is a backlog of applications, and they often deny your application the first time. Keep going back.
