  1. Well what I would do to get better is run cross-country before track, this will decrease your time quite a bit by giving more endurance and making you better at long distance running, also in the off season and summer, run at your local track a ton. Run say two-three miles a day depending on what your comfortable with. Also do this drill where you jog the strate aways and sprint corners for about half a mile. These are some basic things that will improve your mile time, hope this helps

  2. PRACTICE HARD EVERY DAY.EVERY TIME YOU PRACTICE, PUSH YOURSELF A LITTLE FARTHER. GOOD LUCK!

  3. steroids

  4. keep on runnin miles...

  5. All you have to do is runs up hills 40 times in all directions...seriously it works

  6. if you serious about improving then DONT BE LAZY OVER THE SUMMER, get out and run 4-6 days a week, if your going to be lazy then dont bother if your determined then run 20-50 mins a day 4-6 days a week and you will see good results, good luck

  7. Practice everyday over the summer. Some days of the week do intense workouts. Work on improving your sprinting and endurance. Runa a couple of miles a day and try to set new goals.

  8. strap ankle weights to your ankles. not too heavy of ones tho. it will make your legs stronger so that when youre running without them at a track meet or whatever it should help u run faster.

  9. Run 4-6 days a week. Start out by running 3-4 miles each day, and work up to running 5-6 miles a day. Remember to have fun!
