do i buy some at a pet shop or find some frogspawn up the mountain and put it in my pond. i live in a newly developed area so there's zero chance of some frogs stumbling across my pond and deciding to stay!

any interesting facts you can give me about having frogs in your garden? :)

i saw a cute little frog in the pet store before, and the other day in work i found a tiny baby toad(i work in a country park) but i wouldn't want to keep one cooped up in a tank

  1. That is no way to speak of our neighbours &

EU partners !,maybe sending a coach to a

medium sized french town will get you all

the frogs you need ! while your there bring back

some frogs legs & snails to add a little

    'chic' to the ditch !.

  2. I would say catch a few wild frogs since they would have a better chance of surviving. Also make sure that nothing is contaminating your water (oil, gas, chemicals, etc) since frogs are very sensitive to environmental changes.

  3. We got some spawn from a local park 10 years ago, where there was loads of it - and the ducks were eating the tadpoles!! If you are in a newly developed area, will the newly hatched froglets have plenty of undergrowth to hide in once they emerge from the water? - if not then better not do it. We are surrounded by fields so the frogs keep coming back to lay more spawn.

  4. Throw in a a little cheese garlic and red wine. That should do the trick!!

  5. its where they wont to live not you they will only stay if its what they like a mate tried it all but to no avail but his next door neighbour had them
