  1. I used the metro fairly simple cant remember exact details thou.  Use ur travel agent, the net of info at airport will tell u

  2. Hi, there are many ways to do this.  I will list my favorites first!  Since I use Metro/RER every day and every week go to CDG Airport (the French call it Roissy by the way):

    Option 1 (by train):

RER is a kinda of intra-city train system that connects to all the metro stations.  So...

    1. Take RER B from your terminal: To get there follow the signs to the "Gare".

    2. When you get to the Gare (it's downstairs from the airport terminals level) follow the blue signs to "Paris by Train".  then buy a ticket!

    3. Purchase a ticket at the blue SNCF machines (not the yellow ones).  You can select English as a language.  The selection will be for "train to Paris".  It will cost 8.20 euros and you can use a credit card (or cash - but put the bill face up - foil end first).

    4. get on the train!  They run till midnight and leave every 10 minutes or so... (usually from Voie 11, 12, or 13).  No worries about which train as they ALL go to Paris.  Check on the big black sign in the Gare to see which Voie the next train leaves from (look for stations gare du nord, chatelet, etc.).

In 30 minutes you'll be in Paris!  Now to get to Eifel tower take the RER train "B" to station Saint Michel/Notre Dame and transfer to RER "C".  This can be a bit tricky but just get on any RER C in the direction Versailles/Saint Germain but just look for the station "Champs de Mars/Tour Eiffel"

    Option 2 (bus/metro).

Get on the Air France bus!  This goes directly to Etoile (Arc de Triomphe).  Then transfer to metro line 6 to Trocadero or Champs de Mars/Tour Eiffel.  Follow the signs in the Airport to the "Bus" terminal.  Then look for huge white/blue "Les cars" Air France bus.  It's a huge bus so you can't miss it.  You can find the bus terminals here:

Aérogare/Terminal 1: exit door #34 on the arrivals level

    Aérogare/Terminal 2: exit doors #A6, B6, C5, D6 on the arrivals level

Aérogare/Terminal 2F: exit door 0.07 on the arrivals level

When you get to Arc de Triomphe, you will go underground to Line #6 (the green line) to either Trocadero (my fav since get a cool view of everthing) then walk across the Seine to the Tour Eiffel.  Or take it one more stop to "Champs de Mars" which is on the same side of the Seine as the Tower.

Those are my two fav options.  Which is better?  Depends on traffic.  If it's at traffic time when you arrive the bus will take longer but if not then RER is always the same (30 minutes to Paris, then 10 minutes to Eiffel Tower).

Some considerations:  If you have a lot of luggage the train can be a bit difficult but just look for escalators rather than stairs.  If you take the bus you'll have to take the Metro and luggage in the metro is even more difficult.  It's not impossible - just difficult as there are not always escalators available and so you'll be going up and down potentially long flights of stairs with your luggage.

There are a few other buses as well available so check the link below for details on those (I've never taken them so don't know but I see them all the time at Roissy).

    from CDG Airport,

take the RER B to Paris

( with a direct train it will take you exactly 31 minutes from CDG to Chatelet)

then get off at Chatelet and get on RER A , direction "Cergy" , "Poissy" or " Saint Germain"

Do not worry : whatever may be the direction, you will stop at /

    - Charles d eGaulle Etoile

    get off there

change to Metro (subway) Line 6

    Direction Nation

and get off at    " Bir Hakeim"

this is the place for Eiffel Tower !

    congrats

all this can be done with the same ticket....fortunately for you

    cost is 8,20 €

You can also take the AirFrance bus.....provided you travel with AirFrance or an airline part of its alliance.  You can get off at "Arc de Triompe" and then get on Metro Line 6 direction "Nation" and get off at " Bir Hakeim"
