go to AA route planner! we've just been to france and drove all the way from calais to houlgate with it! it is really good and will point out all speed cameras etc.

You'll need to take the train into the Gare St. Lazare in Paris and then proceed to Bordeaux from the Gare Austerlitz.

The trip will take you about 11-12 hours and cost around 82 euros.
