Take a bus.  Bus service in Mexico is excellent.  Best way is just to go to the central bus station in Juarez and ask the schedule for buses to  Hermosillo...there are probably several each day.  You can buy your tickets a few days ahead of time, or on the same day.   All seats are reserved, fares are low...take a "first class"  bus.

If u are driving to Janos (2 hrs) then Aguaprieta (2 1/2 hrs), Santa Ana and Hermosillo.  From Aguaprieta to Hermosillo are another 3 to 4 hrs.  Avoid driving be night from Juarez to Aguaprieta at night.
