How do i get from toronto to thunder bay?

I need to go to Thunder bay from toronto by bus or sumthin and not by plane.. is it possible?

and if yes so how and how much.. thank u.

  1. I recommend the train!  It's affordable, and enjoyable.  You'll get a smooth ride, stopping occasionally in small Canadian towns and cities to drop off and pick up.  The scenery will be nice, and there's wifi too.

  2. ViaRail does not stop in Thunder Bay.  The closest stop is in Armstrong -- a tiny native comunity about 2.5 hours north of Thunder Bay.

    If you don't want to fly, Greyhound is going to be the next best option.

    You could also check on http://www.kijiji.ca to see if someone is offering a ride.  There are commonly people driving out West from TO, and you have to go right through Thunder Bay.

  3. yeah, its a h**l of a long bus ride. the train is nicer but more expensive than the bus.
