How do i get from welling high street to elmers end in beckenham.?

I would take a bus to Bexley, from there one to Bromley, and from there one to Elmers End. Or if you want to go by train, I would go to Welling Station I think the 89 goes there from Welling. Up to London Bridge, down again to Elmers End.
