  1. Lemons are great for that! I don't know if cooking/baking grease can be treated the same as grease from cars and stuff, but we've also used a can of Coca Cola to get grease out of my husband's jeans, so that may help with the cutting board as well.

    Good luck!

  2. Wipe the whole cutting board down with cooking oil, preferably olive oil and let the oil soak in.  You should have done this when you first got ot to 'cure' it.

  3. put it in the dish washer

  4. Maybe try sprinkling baking soda on it and let it sit awhile, then wash in hot water and dry.

  5. With a wood cutting board, you want a little grease actually.  Coat the boards in canola oil and let them sit for a day or two.  If you can get away with it, give them a second soak/coat.  You'll find your cutting boards are easier to clean and maintain, and they'll last longer.

  6. I would cut a lemon in half use the juice and the lemon rind to scrub your board then rinse it  and dry it with paper towel.

That will clean and disinfect it at the same time.

  7. rub it with a lemon, then soak it in dawn dishsop to cut grease, can even scrub it with a wire scouring pad gently or a plastic scrub brush
