  1. Dawn Dish Soap

  2. rub the stains with the regular (blue) dawn dish liquid and wash in cold water.

sometimes you may need to scrub with a tooth brush and dawn

  3. Natural Degreaser:- (theory, Like dissolves Like)

    * Rub Orange Oil or Eucalyptus Oil onto the stained area let stand for 15 minutes (it will freshen the set in oil stain), then launder with a general laundry detergent in warm water followed by two warm rinses.

    * Cleans and freshens up your garments.

    Good Luck!

  4. Dawn works really well.  However, the commercial product from Home Depot, Zep 505 works really well if you pretreat the stain. I use it on my husband's clothes.  He is a mechanic and truck driver.  Diesel, black grease and oil on many things have made me use this degreasing product. When dawn didn't work for me, this product did.

Do not use regular laundry soap before making absolutely sure that the stain is out of the garment.  Today's laundry soap "locks" in stains and helps repel dirt.  Once your garments have been washed and dried it is pretty much a no brainer that you won't get the stains out but if you pretreat them with the 505 by saturating the stain and allowing it to dry first, then saturate it again (use a brush for caked on grease or deep set to loosen the fabric and petroleum) before washing it.
