ok. so i got an aeropostale jacket with lettering on it the other week and it didn't have washing instructions on it so i just threw it in the wash with my other clothes.when i got it out of the dryer, i found grey stains scattered all over my jacket! my mom said that it might have been when it got put in the dryer, it was folded up in a ball and the heat made the lettering go where ever it was touching. it makes sense to me but does anyone know how to get the stains out???i would bleach it but im scared that will ruin it even more.thank you sooo much!!! any answers will be greatly apriciated!

  1. spray some Shout or any other stain remover that you have handy on the stains to soften  the stains and rub gently with your hands , until they are gone , rinse the jacket in cold water and white vinegar this will seal the colours from bleeding into the white , hang to dry right away . If you use bleach the lettering will fade away.

  2. I've got out a LOT of stains using OxyClean.  Try soaking it in the washer with detergent and OxyClean, letting it agitate and soak, repeating this cycle for several hours.  My kids have lots of Aero clothes and I've never had a problem like this before.  If it was from the lettering (and the stain doesn't come out), I'd take it back to Aeropostale.  I bet they'd exchange it for you.
