  2. I think homeschooling would be great for you.  Here is some information you can share  with your parents about benefits, statistics, etc.

You can find out your state's laws here so you will know the requirments:

    http://www.hslda.org/laws/default.asp

Then sit down with your parents and figure out which method you want to use.  Some high school students like to use computer based homeschooling.  That may work for you, especially if your parents won't be available to supervise your work.

There is info on other methods on that site as well.  Once you've settled on a method then you can start choosing a curriculum.

    Here are some workbook programs:

  3. Check out this website:

There are several pages that should help.

  4. oh suck it up. I got bullied, I was molested. everyone in my school knew. get your *** to school and stop being a little *****.

Anyone who gets homeschooled that doesnt have a medical condition is a little p***y. There are mentally challenged kids that STILL go to school, how do yout hink they feel

  5. I'm Sorry, How about you enroll in Connections Academy? It is for any age. high school, preschool, ext.

    http://www.connectionsacademy.com/

    its FREE

  6. The biggest requirement is enrolling your parents.  They're the ones who have to serve as your teachers.

And if you really have Asperger's Syndrome, then you will have to have a teacher present all the time because of your tendency to obsess and get completely distracted.  That means that one of your parents will have to be home with you all the time.

Think carefully what you're asking for here.  It will mean you *almost never* get time away from one of your parents; that person becomes disciplinarian, teacher, principal, coach, ...

  7. Hi Joe,

I think homschooling would be great for you.  I understand that you are in England, so a great place to start would be finding out how to be legally homeschooled in England; the link is below:

    http://www.hslda.org/hs/international/Un...

At the above link, you will find phone numbers to organizations that can help with homeschooling.

Please explain to your parents what you are going through at school and present the information to them that you found at the aforementioned link.  Also, let them know that you will work diligently to improve your grades, but in order to do that, you need relief from the bullying, social situations, etc.

    Additional links are below:

    http://school.familyeducation.com/home-s...

    http://www.home-school.com/groups/englan...

My heart goes out to you, and I hope and pray your parents will allow you to be homeschooled.

  8. It's called Aspergers Syndrome.

It does make finding new friends difficult. My son has it, and homeschooling has been good because he could practice meeting new people without all the teen angst thrown in.

I would suggest talking to your parents. I don't know the laws in England about homeschooling, but they would have to find out and sign any paperwork (since you aren't 18 and legal) I would also talk to your parents about finding a counselor who is trained in autistic disorders. A typical therapist has no idea how someone with aspergers thinks, and her advice could make your situation worse.
