How do i get in shape asap?

i want to start boxing and im out of shape does anyone have and tips?..i will choose a best answer

  1. be pacient,it wont happen over night especially if your out of shape...start by cutting out bad eating habits,drink a gallon of "hydrogen rich water"every day..running or swimming laps to get warmed up and than hit the gym for the weights....remmember that hydrogen water is very important because purified water alone has no benifits!


  2. start drinking lots of water every day.. cut out fried and junk foods, eat fruits and chicken or steak, go on the subway diet, jog or walk every night, if you have weight at home start lifting them at night and crunches.. it takes time. it wont happen over night, but dont give up if you dont see results in like 3 days. one thing that helped me alot was drinking 3 1 liters of water a day

  3. Depends entirely on how bad of shape you are in.  Running is great but if you are in poor shape immediately starting to run will increase your chance of an injury.

    Start with walking working into speed walking then bicycling and eventually running but do it in speed burst.  This increase your metabolic rate so that you will loose weight and increase your endurance for ring fights.  Since your question is geared towards boxing you will need to work your upper body, abs and build muscle.  Bill Phillips has a great book called Body for Life which is full of tips.  When I first started getting in shape I simply used a old beach cruiser bicycle . . .

  4. The best way is 15-20 minutes cardio each morning, whether that be jogging, skipping rope, or a cardio machine (elipitical, etc).

    For an afternoon/evening workout, follow this:

    Warmup - Shadowboxing (3 rounds)

    Boxing - Bag Work/Focus Mitt Work/Sparring

    Cool Down - Skipping Rope, Ab Work, Pushups,

  5. by workout out you will get in shape. do push-ups, pull-ups, sit-ups, run (long distance and sprints either outside or on the treadmill) {if being out of shape is also a matter of being over weight then do NOT! run b/c until you lose the weight in a healthy manner over time it will be bad for your ankles and knees} , jump-rope, swim (if you have access to pool or lake), air squats, etc also changing the way you eat is important. start by not drinking any soda and start cutting sweets slowly out of what you eat. eat more vegetables especially green ones and eat lean meat such as chicken and fish for protein. it is important to eat a large breakfast to jump start your metabolism. then don't let yourself eat anything pat 8pm if you must eat at that time b/c you are very hungry and you didn't have the chance to eat earlier then eat something light. try not to go to sleep after eating a heavy meal. as for learning to box you must join a boxing gym and get a trainer and until you are very much experience don't practice boxing on your own without your trainer. if you have any specific questions feel free to send me a message
