There are so many glues, for different purposes, which could need different methods for removal - after all they are meant to stick well.  The detailed guidance for the glue should tell you how to remove it from unwanted places.  If you don't have that, or it isn't helpful, I assume you've tried scrubbing with hot, soapy water, but sometimes you just need to keep on doing it.  Or, it may be that a common domestic solvent will help, such as white spirit or petrol - solvents tend to come with health warnings these days but I reckon that as long as you are sensible and scrub thoroughly with soap & water again afterwards they aren't going to do much harm.  One specific product I have often found very helpful, with a wide variety of deposits on my hands, is Swarfega DIY hand cleaner - it does pretty well on most stuff.
