How do i get into K1?

ive been doing Taekwondo/hapkido for 11 years muay thai/san shou/mma for 4 years. i dont wonna do mma i wonna do k1 max i think i bring something different to the table cause of my high level of taekwondo

  1. i agree. ask your instructors.


  2. you cant just get into k1. you have to fight and prove yourself in smaller proffesional leagues first. id also suggest dropping hapkido and tkd. the others you listed are good though.

  3. i fight k1, and it depends where you live, i live in the uk and if you look for up and coming local competitions(by local i sometimes have to travel up to 400 miles) then you can enter them and fight in them, get to know local places that fight k1 and get put on theyre email register then when ever fights come up you get an email, if you do get a name for yourself then you'll be aproached by a promoter who will get you bigger fights, though im sure your muay thai, or mma coach should know of any fights and be able to get you in. good luck
