hi. well, it's come to that time of the year again, where now people (like me who's just begun year 13) are beginning to look around universities. i would LOVE to study German, but then i had an idea...why not study the language abroad? i've looked at some German unis already (via the internet) such as Gottingham and Munster and they both offer German as a foreign language, the only thing is, they don't mention what the entry requirements are.

i was wondering if anyone knew if A-levels are enough to get, or if they use something like the IB.

  1. Universities don't normally offer a degree in their language, chances are it's actually a course you've found that people can take in order to improve their German enough to study Physics for example at a German university.

If you do really want to study German in Germany you could study at an English university, most foreign language degrees include a year of residence abroad as part of the course so you could study at a German university for a year under the official ERASMUS programme.
