How do i get into an ELECTRICAL apprentiship?

What are requirements? Do i need highscool? can i do it without highschool? Is a G.E.D okay?

Next, what do i need to do to get into an apprentiship in canada ontario (im from waterloo).

  1. Highschool diploma or equivelant. So a GED would be fine. Chances are you'll have to pass a math test before hand. Find the closest college that offers it and their website should have all the details. Use OCAS to apply for the college program. It takes about 4 years to be licenced, if that helps. But you can take shorter programs first if you like. You also have to write a provincial test and pass when you are done your program to be licenced.

    Tip: Go for an Industrial Electrician opposed to a Residential Electrician. Industrial makes more money.
