I would say if you want to start your own storm chasing group then learn about weather and the risk involved in stormchasing and then find people who have the same interest as you. Maybe post flyers, send emails to everyone on your contact list, or you could even probably find storm chasing teams near you by googleing it. Getting into storm chasing is just like trying to get into anything else, like guitar or dancing, just do some research.
