How do i get involved in Airsoft?

Question

I would like to do airsoft. Im 16 and i would like to get into it. I dont have anything any guns or gear or whatever. What do i buy as a good starter kit and like what other stuff do i buy. I was looking at airsoft guns did some browsing and i think i want an electric gun, but im not really sure if thats good?

And if anyone lives in northern new jersey where do you go to play?

really all you need is eye protection, a gun and ammo, a field and friends with airsoft guns. if you want a really good one get it off the internet. a good automatic will cost between $100-$300

Well I don't live in Northern New Jersey, but you don't really need any gear to get started, just get good airsoft glasses don't won't break if you shoot an airsoft gun at it.  Test them out when you get them.  But you should get a spring pistol, those are pretty cheap, you can find them at Big 5.  Electric guns may shoot automatically but they don't go that far because they're alot weaker. You can also get a CO2 gun, those cost more but you don't have to c**k the gun everytime,  they're semiautomatic and some of the are automatic.  For starters, you should just get a pistol.  Or you can buy a big pack with a pistol and a rifle.
