  1. doesn't your high school have a ski team of any sort?

  2. there's a league for boarders (USASA) but they accept skiers. The skiers can compete in skier cross (what i do) pipe and park. It's really cool and you can go to nationals if you place in the top three at least three times. I go up to maine and there's a series up there. Also MA, NH, VT, and NY all have series of their own. usasa.org has a lot of extra information!

  3. The USSA ( United States Ski Association) is the governing body in the US for all ski competition, This is the body who provides the umbrella for all regional ski association and the Olympic and FIS teams.  They have a web site that will give you more information about ski racing.  There is an Eastern region that governs the east coast.  You start in local races and gain experience and as you do you can develop your skills to the best of your ability.  There is also in some areas a few other race groups, ask at your local ski shops and inquire at ski shows.  Good luck, have fun.
