How do i get involved in small scale joint investments?

I'm talking about were say myself and maybe 4/ 5 other people each placing an equal share into one project or business for a return. Aren't there investment people who deal with this kind of thing ?

Google "investment clubs".  There is at least one website dedicated to this subject.  E*Trade offers investment club accounts, by the way.
