How do i get involved in the UN?

so im 16 years old and live in canada and im looking for a way to get involved in the world or just get involved with things that are important to me

  1. Wish more people thought like you, most people just want to work for some big business making money and generally making the World worse rather than better.

    I'm currently doing my Masters degree in International Community Development & hoping (oneday) to get involved with the UN as well, somewhere in the human rights/advocy fields. Generally as a minimum you'll need at least a Masters Degree, to be able to speak English and French (Arabic also helps), plus have between 2 - 5 years experience at the domestic level, usually for an NGO (non-Governmental Organisation).

    If that all sounds a bit too much, you could always just work for an NGO. Don't need as many qualifications, since their smaller can be more effective than the UN too.

  2. Well my uncle is a doctor and he works for the WHO. They pay pretty d**n well too from the way he spends.
