  1. Try www.usajobs.gov

  2. Careers with the IRS

    http://www.jobs.irs.gov/home.html

Careers with all US Federal government offices:

    http://www.usajobs.gov

  3. I would recommend checking out the Defense Finance and Accounting Services website, www.dfas.mil. This is a government agency. They have an awesome 7/9/11 program. Meaning you will be brought in as a entry level accountant or financial management specialist. Each year you will be promoted to the next grade until you reach your target grade of GS-11. The promotions are not competitive, so you don't have to compete with other applicants. There are other agencies that have such programs. I know the Veterans Affairs has a program like such( and they are hiring every where ) don't know a lot about it but I do know about the DFAS program. IRS has similar programs too, check out www.irs.gov

    Good Luck!

Working for the government is worthwhile.
