How do i get manufacturers?

Question

I have a logo and name for a clothing brand i want to start. I know it's not easy but this is something i really want to do.

Now that i have a logo and name, i will register a trademark, but how do i get these shirts into stores so people can buy? also, how do i get tags on my shirt instead of buying shirts and printing the logo onto it? Better yet what are the steps to making a clothing brand? if someone can answer that, i'll be greatful

OK > you have 2 separate issues here:

• the manufacturing process

• the distribution process

Most clothing is made off shore in Mexico, China, & other countries  in what some would refer to as "sweat shops".  That, unfortunately, is about the only way to get the cost down to where people can afford to buy.

Now as far as distribution, you could go with an online site, advertise what you offer in magazines that your target audience reads, & direct them to your site.

Otherwise, you'd have to contact buyers of stores that handled vendor merchandise > meaning not just their own brands.  You're probably going to have start small & build .
