How do i get microsoft word?

i just got a new mac and need microsoft word ASAP but i have no clue how to get it. do i download it or do i have to buy the software?

if you bought it at an apple store, i dont know why they didnt suggest getting the microsoft office suite. otherwise, you can just get a copy of the mac version on apple's website.

You have to buy Microsoft Office. It cost like $300. Or you could use Open Office which uses the same file type and is free to download.

Buy it, don't download OpenOffice.  OpenOffice is practically a virus (it's definitely malware).  If you have OpenOffice and you get Office then OpenOffice attacks the Office code and attempts to destroy it!!!  That's the definition of malware.

and you cant buy it seperate it comes as a package called microsoft office 2007

and i supose the basic package can be bought on the internet for about £80

u can actually buy a licensed version for mac

but just in case u dont want to spednthat miuch u can download a pirated ( not advisable) version

but it is available

if u have urgency in writing a document and dont have time to purchase uc an download open office and later switch back to MS office
