How do i get more channels for my windows vista media center?

Question

supposedly on vista's windows media center i should be able to watch nickelodeon, spike tv, and other channels and series(like avatar: the last airbender) over the internet without the use of a tv tuner, but mine only has 3 or 4 different series, and 4 or 5 different channels, all that i already have on my television, can i download a plug-in of some sort or something?

Then go to "Internet TV (beta)"
