  1. its all about swing, clubs, and golf balls that really helped me improve my game.

  2. swing harder?

  3. solid contact is the easiest way to hit it further.  ignore people who tell you to swing out of your shoes, yes you will on occasion catch it flush and hit it far but for the most part you will spray it.  swing as hard as you can and still be in perfect balance on your follow through.  also try and get as much extension with your arms on the backswing as possible, this will promote a longer arch and will allow you to generate more clubhead speed.

  4. try hitting it harder but if ur not hitting it straight ur not going to hit if far, i used to swing too hard and not hit it far cause it would go everywhere, but now i swing soft and it goes 200+ hards

  5. Distance increases as your clubhead speed at impact increases.  You need to make your swing more efficient so you can generate more clubhead speed without getting off balance and hitting wild shots.  Widen your stance a little, keep your right foot at right angles to the target line.  This will restrict how far you can turn your right hip, but still turn your shoulders a full 90 degrees.  This will set up good torque in your lower back, and allow you to generate more clubhead speed.  Best I can offer without seeing you swing.

  6. try a simple trick that gets better yardage right now.

Use a higer tee and set it up a little further forward.

Instead of having the ball set between your feet, move so it is level with your left heel (for right hander).

That way, the club head is already moving up.

(If you take it too far forward, it may start to slice. To fix that, get closer to the ball an inch or so)

  7. Good Grip (not to strong/not to weak)

Good Ball Placement (depends on which club you are hitting)

Good Tempo (harder doesn't mean farther or more straight)

It's also important to have the right equipment. Especially with golf there are lots of factors that go into a set of clubs for a golfer. I would recommend that you get professionally fitted for a set of clubs. You don't even have to get a new set, you can have an existing set modified to your measurements. Check with a local proshop for more information. The club pro will be able to help.

two of the best that I have found are:

    1. Core exercises like crunches(this allows for a faster swing while still staying in control.

    2. Squeeze a racket or tennis ball. You will be amazed at the distance gain from a little grip/forearm work.

  8. Get the golf club that can hit far and just relax then swing back and hit it

  9. to gain distance you must play more. That is it. Simple time at the range.

  10. Dead right^^

  11. what type of club head do you have? change your golf balls... try working out more to build upper body strength too.

  12. It would be wise to visit a pro. Don't worry to hit it too far - rather concentrate on hitting it straight. Hitting it harder won't necessarily help.

  13. try working on the torque in your swing

  14. get some lessons from a pro and the best big dawg you can afford.

  15. Get in the weight room.  Tiger Woods was 6'1" 150 lbs.  when he first turned pro in '96.  He's now 180-185 lbs.  Same thing with Camillo Villegas.  You see the dedication he's made to getting in the weight room.  If you want to hit the ball farther, you have to have the strength to create the clubhead speed to hit the ball farther.

  16. hit the weight room and develop good body posture and flexibility. you need to generate a lot of club head speed meaning a lot of torque when you swing which then from the ciruclar motion of the head and impact will give you a better distance in yardage. Also keep in mind that once you start building that speed and flexibility you need to keep squaring you club head when hitting. you want to hit far and stay within fairway range.
