How do i get more points so i can level up?

I'm only on level one and i need to get more points but i don't know how!! help!

Answer questions gives you 2 points. Asking questions takes away 5 points. Best answer gives you 10 points.

Answer questions that you know something about, or if you are not too sure about the answer, do some research on it.  If you give a well informed answer you stand a better chance of being picked as "best answer" which is an extra 10 points

I had 15,000 points, level 6,by answering questions which I knew a little about until April 1st when I was suspended. In just 4 months I have got back to level 5  Now if I can do it anyone can but you need to spend at least a couple of hours a day on yahoo Q and A. Try to be constructive with your answers and try not to ask too many questions. Always remember at the end of the day points really mean nothing. You have to enjoy what you are doing then you will succeed . Good luck
