  1. First, sadly, there is no way to pull the digital media files from your DVR.  They are encrypted and there is no “view on a pc” option or "transfer to pc" option with UVerse.

    This leaves re-recoding them.   You will need a card and/or USB device that can record video.  Then you will need to hook up a set top box output to the associated input on the card/device.  Then play the program on your UVerse SetTopBox and record the program on your PC.  This is, I believe you will agree, quite a hassle. Let’s hope AT&T is listening and will come up with a PC solution soon!
