How do i get msn messenger on a vodafone contact phone?

if i go on msn, its always on the web. But then its restricted because im under 18 and I really would like a better way of me getting it. I tried the sms trick, it failed. Please help me!! My phone is sony erricson K850i

If you have internet on the phone then download a 3rd party messenge on the phone such as Fring or E-buddy and then use it instead!
