How do i get music and movies etc from my friends ipod when i connect it to my PC?

Question

My friend lent me his ipod so i could put his movies/music/podcast etc onto my computer/ipo or itunes.

But im not sure how to do this.

please can somebody help!!!

you will need to have a 3rd party tool to help you copy songs in your ipod to computer as itunes blocks the ipod-to-computer transfer, here is a review of top 5 ipod  copying softwares(windows/mac): http://www.ipodtocomputer.net

hi there

first you got to go to www.download.com

search for this software

iDump

download it

then plug in your friends ipod

make sure you close itunes if not you will erase all his songs and i'm not responsible for what happens to u after(time spent having to reload all his songs)

all his songs will download into idump library

select all the files and tick them

in the window, choose your output file

prefably somewhere easy like your desktop

then click the copy button

all his stuff on the ipod should be in the

output folder after downloading (should take about a few hours for 1742 songs

there it's done

after that just drag all the files over to your own itunes
