quit being a parent and be a friend. other than that good luck. youhave a bad spot in his heart because you are not mom and you take dads time away from him. so you have a big job best bet is not to try too hard and find out what he likes and do what he wants then you might have a chance.

I say take away something speacial from him. Like his favorite game. And when he really want's something try not to listen and he would know how it feels when he does it to you. also try not talking to him so he can come to you instead of you going to him.

Listen to music, or video games.....much more likely.  

although you can try to encorporate the two,  try playing video games with him and listen to him.  once he realizes that you will listen he might.

well you could slap him up side the head but that would be child abuse so well....That's a NO GO! but do what the first one says, i wish my step mom would do something like that.

You talk to his father and tell HIM to talk to HIS son.  If he won't your step son is never going to listen to you.  Keep in mind that the boy is also pubescing.
