  1. Make sure they're getting enough acid in the soil (they are more of an acidic plant.  I'm not sure where you live but they need to stay at a stable temp or the buds for the blooms will fall off. Keep them misted and in a humid condition.   If it's an inside plant (like the Griff's version), they are a little more hardy and will maintain blooms throughout the year if taken care of properly.  I live in PA and have had a few but they usually get away from me as it's just a little too cold up here even for a houseplant.

  2. Make sure they have plenty of morning sun and that they are in a cool room.  Also, mist them.  Gardenias love to be misted.  That should do it.  Good luck!

  3. I'm not certain if this is just particular to my region of Central Fl, however my gardenias really do well in mid to late day sun light and they love water.  They are blooming well.

  4. I'm wondering if your Gardenias are late to bloom now. I'm in VA and my gardenias are near the end of their blooming season. There aren't as many blooms as there were weeks ago.  I deadhead them often and had blooms since May.

Be sure that they're getting enough water. Although the foliage appear to be fine, it won't have blooms if it's not getting enough water.  I'm really concern if gardenias will bloom this late in the summer.  For now, prepare  blooms for next season by pruning and mulching, if you haven't done so already.
