How do i get my HD channels to fit on my Hd tv.?

When i watch my Hd channels, (espn for instance) The picture is gorgeous but it doesnt fit all the way on my screen. Like it only shows "PN" instead of "ESPN" and the ticker on the bottom is cut halfway.

You need to figure out how to put your TV on the 16 x 9 picture setting. Try reading the directions for your TV or if you have a Samsung I could tell you.

It CAN be a combination of the TV's FORMAT and the Cable Box's FORMAT....

Set your Cable box's  HD aspect  to 16:9, your 4:3 SD video to 4:3 stretch....

Then go to your TV's aspect ratio....It should be set to either STANDARD or Full, depending on the Brand you own....

ur tv remote should have a wide mode button. set it so that it goes to the setting full. it should not be zoomed or stretched. those r not the right settings.
