How do i get my HTC PPC6800 to sync with windows vista?

Question

I loaded the cd that came with my phone...downloaded the newest active syn off the internet...plugged my phone in and nothing. I dont have microsoft outlook but Vista comes with the Windows contacts and windows calender is there a way to sync my device with these two programs?

U need Windows Mobile Device Center for Vista . Active Synce is  for XP
