How do i get my bird to stay calm around me?

i really want my bird to not bite not to fly away. he dosent do anything but stay in his cage and poo please help

Train it and tame it do trusting technices like put seed in your hand and try to offer it to her if that dosent work get letice and feed it to her and if that dosent work look it up on internet(got spelling mistakes sorry..)

They are like little children, you have to give them time and patience. When they are beside you speak softly to them, each day start to get your finger a little closer every day but don't rush your hand out to it. every motion towards the bird should be slow,allthe time talking softly to your bird. Let him know you are not going to hurt him Birds do not like sudden movements it scares them. After awhile, it may take several but your bird will get used to you. Soon after, offer him your finger, see if he will step up. Tell him softly, step up. Eventually he will step up on your finger, remember, be patient it is gooing to take time. Once he knows he can trust you chances are he will feel safe with you and will want to be with you. Offer him treats when he successfully does what you want him to and tell him he's a good bird, remember speak softly. Sounds like allot of work but if you want a calm bird be calm and gentle with him. Good luck.

birds are like babies u gotta treat them like one they do something right give them a treat for eg find out what treat it likes and try to feed it to him but it could take some time for it to come to you because its instics is like as if it was in the wild has to trust you spend as much time as you can near the cage and try to talk to it  

by the way what bird is this and how old is it?
