How do i get my cat litter trained?

I just got a new kitten.hes real cute.hes not fully litter trained though. how can i get him litter trained.

Drop your new little baby in the litter box take his paw and literally make him dig. Once he knows where the box is, he should have no problem using it. If he has an accident on the floor, immediately pick him up and put him back in the box, he'll learn.

A lot of it is instinct. Just stick him in the box periodically and he will get the idea. If he starts to go somewhere other than the box I would grab him and stick him in the box quickly.
