How do i get my child support?

ok here the deal iam 18 n have around 50 grand in child support. one problem though my mom gets alot of governmental assistance. she never worked since she was my age. so basically the money my dad sends me goes straight to the government. its kind of like my dad paying back the government from the government supporting my mom. the only wayi think ican have access to it is my mom getting a job.thats not going to happen. any other way?

I highly recommend that you speak with an attorney. It does not sound like you are owed any monies. Perhaps even discuss it with your dad.

Any money owed by your father will either go to the state to pay back the money given to your mother,or go to your mother directly. YOU are not owed any money and have no access to it.

Child support is paid to the parent that has physical custody of the child to pay for caring for them and paying for expenses for the child.  You being the child will not get paid the support, it is not a cash payment to give to the child, it is for the needs and care of the child.  Sorry to say but you won't see a penny of it.
