How do i get my computer to run smooth again?

Question

i do not have the installation software anymore - not that i really want to erase everything off my computer anyways - lots of pictures and music and games downloaded but now it's running slower than molasses. any pointers?

p.s.the easier the better for me

Hello if it is a microsoft computer than hit start>control pannel>add or remove programs then you can manually choose to keep programs based on your use with them
