How do i get my corked leg better for a game of rugby tomorrow for cgrade 19's div 1?

i corked my quad today at school playing afl (unfortunatly) and it have minimal movement of my leg and cant make my foot touch my **** to try to stretch it because it has tighted the muscle alot. its pretty painfull but i have to play an important game of rugby league tomorrow night against a touring english side SO PLEASE GIVE ME SOME IDEAS ON HOW TO BRING BACK MOVEMENT AND EASE PAIN AND TENSION???? thanks guys asap if ya have any ideas cheers.

  1. It's gonna be difficult but here's what my mum ( a trained physio) did for me). Corks bleeding muscles ...

    Alternate heat and icing over the offending area for at least 1.5 hours - the more the better.

    Accompanied with gentle stretching of the corked area.

    That used to get the cork to about 75~80%

    The truth is you need more time and treatment.


  2. Go in the shower and run it under 20 seconds of cold. Then 20 seconds of hot. Keep doing this until you think its getting better. Then try running on it and things like that. If that doesn't work rub heat cream on it before you play the match

  3. get heat cream and give it a really good rub..stretch it lightly and try loosen the muslces, dont push it, you will find it will start loosening after a while and start easing..

    Umm get plently of rest!
