How do i get my downloaded house on 2 my sims gme?? plz help?

i downloaded a house off mod the sims 2 and itsin my download file but how do i get it onto my game in a lot?

its a sims 2 package file

double click it  and follow the onscreen  directions

the game wil do the rest
