How do i get my ferret to eat a mouse?

i just got a ferret a week ago and it will not eat mice as a matter of fact the mouse lives with the ferret now like they're friends

Because ferrets don't eat mice!!!!! Don't make it do something it doesn't want to do! Shame! Trying to feed a mouse to a ferret. Shame! AND THERE IS NO WAY IT WILL EAT IT IF ITS ALIVE! DUH!

all ferrets don't eat mice just like all cats don't eat mice.

the first two ferrets that i had were better mousers than any cat that iv ever had but they still preferred ferret food or caned dog food over mice
