How do i get my friends to talk about something other than, 'hot guys' or 'pretty girls'?

it really bores me to ******* death.

all my guy friend talks about is how pretty so and so is, how big her *** is, or how he didn't know she had contacts because her eyes are pretty.

all my best friend talks about is how hot so and so is, why doesn't this guy like her back, or if there is going to be hot guys where we're going.

HONESTLY, I DON'T CARE.

my best friend even said "you're a man, you don't even think about what girls think about."

well sorry i'm not a horndog and don't have s*x on my mind all the time.

how can i get them to drop the subject without making it obvious or too bitchy?

my guy friend tells me to shut up whenever i talk about my ex, but it's okay for him to complain about this girl who he used to 'love'.

and my best friend thinks it's stupid whenever i talk about my ex, but she thinks she can complain about her ex who she dated for a month and then broke up with SIX MONTHS AGO!

Sometimes people, even close friends, grow apart. And even if you've known them for a long while, after some time you begin to realize who you want in your life and who you can live without. You can't tell them to talk about something other than the things they currently talk about. It's probably the only thing they know right now and if you're above that, you should find people who are more along the lines of your level and your way of thinking. Growing up sometimes means leaving the past behind and they seem to fit that criteria. You don't have to leave them and never speak to them again, but you should find people who can hold an actual conversation with you.

I'm with you on this one.  Chalk it up to they are shallow.  I dont think that you can make them change.  I hang out with some d**n immature people because my honey needs so much attention.  It gets so annoying.  You're just more mature than them.  In the end you will be the one to have a lasting relationship - while they either hook up  and it doesnt last or they never find anyone because looks are so important.  Stay on the track that you are on. - good  for you.
