The power went out so I used the release to allow myself to open the door manually, now we cannot get it back on the track to go up and down with the motor. Any assistance would be appreciated.

  1. Your emergency release handle pin is not in the notched out part of the traveller.  Pull the emergency handle (Red handle)forward and backward, without pulling down on the spring, you should hear/ feel it click inside the notched out part of the traveller.  You will have to cycle the garage operator, and the pin will engage the traveller. your door should operate correctly.

  2. take it all the way up pull the cord and then let go of it nd it will lock in. and if that doesnt work hit it with a hammer!!!! hahah that always works with mine!
