She is a godsend for people like us. Progress not perfection is her motto.

  5. Hire a house cleaner or just get dirty and do it yourself.

  6. i have a schedule for cleaning.  i focus on 1 area of the home each day for monday to friday, and i give myself day off for the weekend.

monday) bedrooms - laundry, change sheets, declutter, dust

tuesday) bathrooms - clear and clean counter and sink,  swish toilet. clean tub.  declutter, clean floor

    wednesday) living room, dust, declutter,

thursday) kitchen, clear and clean counter and sink, clean microwave, clean fridge, wipe cupboard.

Friday) clean office. vaccuum whole house.

sunday) collect garbage around the house for monday morning pick up.

every day) i work on the designated area.  it usually doesn't take very long to clean the bathroom.  if you do it on a regular basis, then the time it takes is going to decrease.  it usually takes me 15 to  30minutes.  when i have to work morning, i do it after work. when i have to work evening, i do it in the morning.

every night ) make sure the sink is empty, dishes all cleaned, kitchen counter clear.  and kitchen floor clean and clear.

i make sure that i don't do everything at once, because, i don't want to overwork myself.  i get tired, and i have other things to do in my life.  i enjoy watching my TV : )

i focus on 1 area so i can actually accomplish something.  if i get lazy 1 day, then i can just do it next week.  the key is to keep it up consistently, so there is no one big mess.  it is easier to do 5 small jobs throughout the week, than to do 1 big job every week.  if you have a big job,  you would not want to do it.

you could alter the schedule according to your needs.  my schedule is probably not perfect, but it suits my needs.  if you feel that you need to clean your bathroom everyday, do so everyday.

you may also have your husband to help you.  my husband washes dishes while i clear up the counter, and clean the kitchen floor.  if you break down the whole "cleaning thing" into workable small jobs, it is a lot more doable.
