in Cali u u cant Evan get Ur permit till 15 and half and u to drive with someone with a license if u have Ur permit with Ur license when u r 18 u  can just go take the test cuz u r legal age

It depends on where you live, although I think that in most states you have to be suxteen to get your liscence, but you can get your permit a 15 and 6 months,

I am 15 now and here in West Virginia all i had to do was go to my high school counselor and get a driving permit form that stated you are enrolled in school and your attendance is acceptable. It took about a week to get that back once i fillled it out then once It got it back I had to go take it to the DMV and tell them i was ready to take my learners test. (Make sure you bring at least 2 proofs of Identification) Once i told them that I went and took the test. If you pass the test you get your liscence right then but if not you have to come back in a week to try again.

This is the way it worked in West Virginia but If I were you I would go to your local DMV and ask them.

Check with your state's DMV.  And I advise you to take a driver's education course.

I don't know about other states, but in California you cannot get a learner's permit until you're

15 1/2 and you can't get a license until you turn 16.

It's called a hardship license.

You have to go to your DMV and fill out some applications and such. You might have to take driver's ed, too...
