How do i get my limewire internet connection to work?

Ive had limewire for a really long time and for some reason the internet connection on it isnt working. My internet is connected fine and everything is working except for limewire and now i cant download music or videos or anything =[

How do i fix it??

The first thing I would look at is your firewall settings.  That could be blocking you from downloading.
