  1. I use eyeshadow primer. it works the best, cause i have the exact same problem.  you can use any brand, my favorite brand is cupcake eyeshadow primer.  but theres so many out there.  it works, and it's cheaper in the long run then really expensive foundations, or using hairspray, it comes off easily at night.  I use it when I go to work so I don't look like a racoon at the end of the day.  Hope this helps!

  2. hairspray

  3. MAC Fix + (plus)

  4. Set your make-up with a fine dusting of translucent powder to keep it in place all day. To help you eye shadow to stay put, place cream concealer on your eye lids before you apply the eye shadow. For more great make-up tips check out this blog post.

  5. thats usually a sign of combination skin type using a liquid foundation.  try rimmel lasting finish not to expensive and gives a slight matt finish which stays longer.

As for eye shaddow try greens again but go for ones with a blue tone to it or a purple tone to it to bring out other colours in the green. I find natural colours like creams and browny purples look good. Try a soft browny pink all over with a darker shade of browny purple just on the outer edges.

  6. Hairspray will clog your pores and can cause breakouts. Try a primer, that's what they are made for. Mary Kay, Coastal Scents, Urban Decay, Sephoras, Smashbox all make good ones.

  7. avon do very good longlasting foundation for about £6 or maybe sometimes more, but there is always some deals on. they last up to 16 hours! i use them all the time because i had the same problem but avon does really work.

for your eyes you should use pink, purple or blue colours also it depends on what colour hair you have which makes diffrent colours stand out more, red hair you should have green or blue colours. blonde and brown you should have pink purple colours.

  8. Use a translucent powder all over your face when finished applying make up. plums/purples are pretty on green eyes.

  9. Yes, Spray a mist of hairspray when you have finished.

Don't forget to close your mouth and eyes

  10. varnish

  11. foundation, followed by concealer and then powder.

brown eyeshadow goes well with green.

  12. make sure you wash your face before you put it on.

You face is always oily even thought it don't look it add it as normal then spray hairspray

  13. Use a primer before you put on you makeup for both face and eyes and then use a product like MAC fix or fix plus to hold you make up. Higher quality makeup will stay on longer.

Use browns and golds on your eyes

  14. you should try da wet and wild make up it stays on longer and it looks great all da time..... if you have green eyes dont use green eye shadow b\c its too much green try an eye shadow dat cordinates with your clothing like a pink and purple shirt try some purple or pink eye shadow..... good luck :)

  15. Apply a primer before putting on foundation, and a primer on your eyes like Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion. Then to finish off your makeup, spray MAC Fix + Spray which helps it set. It's only £10 which is good for MAC and it really does make your makeup stay on much longer.

It's not a good idea to wear eyeshadow the same colour as your eyes, it doesn't bring out the colour. Wear warm colours like gold, brown, and copper.

  16. hairspray or milk of magnesia

  17. i dnt get it bt my sister sprays herself with hairspray

  18. Alright, well the people saying to use hair spray honestly have lost their common sense.

Anyways, I have oily skin and tend to have problems with this as well.

For your eyes, use a primer that is for the eyes. I suggest Urban Decay's Primer Potion. The packaging and whatnot are pretty horrible, but I've had mine since the end of this past february, and I'm still not hurrying to purchase a new one (I use it pretty much every day).

As for your face, wash your face then moisturize properly. Let it set into your face, I'd say 10 minutes, then apply a foundation primer. If you have oily skin, I suggest getting a sample of a primer meant for oily skin and then getting a sample of a mattifier. Two that I am considering trying are one by Cargo and one by Yves Saint Laurent. Using a mattifier would help for areas that are shiny and oily, which would probably help keep the makeup on. After letting the primer sink in for a few minutes, then apply your foundation with a good brush or sponges. I use mineral powder makeup now, and I find that it works a lot better with my oily skin and it also is way less prone to transferring, other than when I'm at work, where I sweat a lot lol. After applying foundation, set it with a loose powder. This will help to keep your makeup on longer.

Another thing that I've heard is that you can use a hydrating mist on your face, such as ones by MAC or Makeup For Ever. MAC will not be good for oily skin though. These are meant to "fix" your makeup, although I've never tried anything like this so I have no idea how it would work. I'd start by getting a sample of something, although I've heard this stuff mainly works for powder based makeup. You don't need to change your foundation to a high end expensive brand, as the brand really doesn't make a difference in how it works with your skin. Some people can't wear high end foundation as it makes their skin break out.

Anyways, as for eye shadows, using opposite colours is meant to bring your eye colour out. A simple google search will bring up countless of websites about this. I don't follow that rule though, I just wear whatever. I have blue eyes, and I own 5-6 different blue eye shadows.

  19. use foundation on your WHOLE face before you put makeup on and it stays on longer.

  20. i buy benefit, stays on all day with no reapplying!! :D quite costly but worth it at the end of the day.

  21. buy a higher quality.

  22. u should use loose powder with a big brush to set ur makeup esp the foundation. just dust it over ur face.

    browns golds coppers maybe

  23. Dont use the cheap stuff. and dont use hairspray DO NOT listren to her! Coz if u use hairspray then it can block pores on the face and possibly cause spots.

  24. Try and eyeshadow base or primer.

It will keep your makeup from creasing, fading, and will make it more vibrant.
