How do i get my messager on the side again?

I had this problem and this is how I fixed it:  Open Messenger; At the top, in the space with the smiley face that says "Yahoo Messenger" right click your mouse; left-click on 'move' and while holding down the left-click button of the mouse, maneuver Messenger to anywhere on your desktop.  Once you release the button you were holding down it will 'set' Messenger....and the position will be locked in place.  I hope this helps!
