How do i get my micro sd card to show up in media manager for blackberry pearl?

Question

i've tried everything like enabling it as mass storage device on the phone, formatted it, it dosen't even prompt me like it says it's gonna and when i'm in media manager it still says device memory next to it???

Is your Pearl at OS version 4.2 or higher?

Go to Options > About. It will be the 3rd line down.

Media Manager only works with version 4.2 or higher of the BB OS.

Is the card recognised as a formatted drive when it's connected to a PC? Try copying some image or mp3 files to it.

Your Blackberry may need pre-named folders for your files.

Have you tried testing another SD card in your Blackberry?

That may give you some idea where the problem lies.
